Hello Friends How are you tonight? I hope my post finds you well.
I'd like to share a few of the words of William Butler Yeats in his lovely poem
When You Are Old
When you are old and grey and full of sleep, And nodding by the fire, take down this book And slowly read, and dream of the soft look Your eyes once had, and their shadows deep;
How many loved your moments of glad grace And loved your beauty with love false or true But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you, And loved the sorrows of your changing face;
And bending down beside the glowing bars, Murmur, a little sadly; how Love fled And paced upon the mountains overhead And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.
Missing you tonight as always my love. William Butler Yeats says it all, in such a lovely way, hope you agree.
The crowd of stars is just not visible right now. The moon is almost full but the dark clouds are - fuller - no shine comes my way just now.
My well is deep, my love is too; and the sun will rise, my faith grows ever stronger in moments of glad grace.
Life is full of peaks and valleys and tonight I guess I Am in the valley, but I Am not alone. I hope you are ok in your valley or your peak. It's not easy to make sense of it all some days, but you will be ok if you recognise where you are. Take care friends
Love to all
